How it Works 

·       Register for an AberShare Shed membership. You can do this online via this link REGISTER HERE or in person at The Shed during AberShare Shed opening times ( currently Thursdays 10am-2pm) 

·       You will need to bring a Photo ID and proof of address on your first borrow, which must match all registration details.  

·       Membership is only available to those over 18.

·       Once you have registered, you can reserve and borrow your first item.

·       Once you have found the item you would like to borrow, check that it is available for the date(s) you require it, and follow the simple steps.

·       Read through the Terms and Conditions of Borrowing, as you will need to sign a copy when you first borrow from the library.

·       Where possible, the team will explain how to use the item. Links to the manual are available both on the item page and will be sent via an email link on checkout confirmation.

·       Take your borrowed item away with you to enjoy and use for the borrowing period.

·       Make sure you return the item on time as other people may have it reserved and to avoid any potential late fees.

·       When you return your item, ensure it is clean and in good working order. Please highlight any issues you had on your return if you have not let us know already.

·       If you experience a problem with the item during your borrow, let us know, and we will aim to sort it as quickly as possible.

·       On return, the item will be checked over, (PAT tested if it is electrical) and then returned to the library for others to borrow.
